This post is a bit belated, but our file was officially submitted to Embassy this past Monday! What does this mean in terms of time line you ask? It appears that a 'typical' wait from this point to finally being able to bring our boys home is anywhere from four weeks to eight weeks... Bearing in mind that 'typical' really means nothing more than a 'guess' in terms of adoption.

We are praying constantly to be cleared by Laurent's first birthday which is none other than St. Patrick's Day... Let's see if this Irish mama is truly lucky enough to have her boys in her arms on March 17th (Interesting fact: We brought Charlotte home four days before her first birthday)!

Please pray with us... We trust He has this even when our impatience seems to get the best of us. Soon...

  1. Hoping and praying for a speedy process through Embassy. It was the hardest part of our wait, by far.

  2. Oh, I hope that you are able to bring them home soon! You are on our prayer list for our evening prayers. :)

  3. Lifting you up in prayer, and hoping that your sweet loves are in your arms soon!!

  4. Praying you're on the short end of the estimated wait (or better yet, SHORTER than what they're telling you!).
