Happy Mother's Day from one blissfully exhausted mama to the next.

Three Years

Three years ago adoption ceased to be a 'casual' topic of conversation and instead became a solid point of reference in which our family is founded. Three years ago we held Charlotte for the first time and our hearts were forever changed... She is the reason we will continue to passionately advocate to set the lonely in families and she is a direct reflection of God's love for His children.

Waiting Children Needing Family

I was just told about two unrelated little ones abandoned in Serbia who need to be adopted... Ingrid (little lady) was born in March of 2010 and Andrej (little guy) was born in May of 2010. They are precious - Pulls at my adoption heart strings! They can either be adopted by the same family or two individual families. Talent Show

Like father like son. AJ began his musical 'career' at a school endorsed talent show and now Etienne is following in his footsteps. Tryouts were held after hours and he made the cut as soon as he laid his sticks down. We are crazy proud of our wicked good little drummer.

Two Crawlers

Two very mobile baby boys equals one extremely tired, but proud mama. Back in December during our court trip, Laurent could neither scoot nor flip and Nicasio was completely immobile. What a difference time, love and three super active older siblings make... Nicasio graduated from rolling to crawling just this week and he is rather satisfied with himself!

Etienne has been waiting for this moment... Just two dudes sitting back, listening to tunes and appreciating all that rock and roll has to offer.

Little Finks

Biological or not, the resemblance between Miss Charlotte and Nicasio screams siblings. I love how God has created our family according to His perfect plan visually, emotionally and spiritually.

The introduction of a culinary toddler staple was rated hugely successful by both of my little men.

Lady's Man

Trusting...

Although home, my heart still rests in Ethiopia and despite the extreme sense of comfort in having our family all together under one roof (finally) I still ache for those who are not yet united. You may recall this post written after AJ and I returned from our court trip. With awe I am overjoyed to announce that a family has stepped forward to adopt this amazing brother and sister! As if that were not enough reason to rejoice, they live mere minutes from us! Amazed at God's provisions for those He loves, I step forward in faith trusting that again families will be called to welcome these sibling sets that have been brought to my attention. I don't want to post too much information to preserve their privacy, but if you feel yourself being called I would love to share more as they have gripped my heart at first glance...

A set of three beautiful sisters with the oldest at 5-7 years and then 4 year old twin girls

A sibling set of three; older brother is 8, eldest girl is 6 and the youngest little lady is 3-4 years old

Five boys / Two of them are brothers and the rest are single - They range in age from 10-12 years old.
